With the Morningstar Tristar Charge Controller you benefit from its advanced TrakStar™ MPPT algorithm that continuously sweeps the I-V curve of the solar array, even under shading or mixed-module conditions, to capture maximal energy — boasting peak efficiencies of up to 99%. The Morningstar Tristar Charge Controller is available in multiple current ratings (30 A, 45 A, 60 A) and supports battery banks from 12 V up to 48 V, making it ideal for systems sized up to several kilowatts. Built for durability, the Morningstar Tristar Charge Controller features a fanless design, heavy-duty heat-sink, epoxy-encapsulated inductors and conformally coated circuit boards — delivering proven performance in harsh conditions. On the connectivity front, the Morningstar Tristar Charge Controller offers Ethernet (in 60A models) plus RS-232 and EIA-485 interfaces, enabling remote monitoring and integration into SCADA or network-based systems.
